Philippine telco interconnection efforts extends to Bukidnon, providing fixed voice calls to province

by E. Lorete/ http://inslashout.wordpress.com / http://inslashout.blog.com

Friendly telco relations bring more service to far flung provinces. Bukidnon will finally get fixed call nterconnection services with Globe Telecom. It is a helpful service for Bukidnon, allowing townfolks connected to Globe and competition to freely communicate digitally with ease.

Inslashout details how that will afect Bukidnon with this filed report from Globe telecom.

Globe Telecom said interconnection with its main competition for fixed voice calls has been extended further to include Bukidnon province. Taking effect November 28, 2016, the interconnection enables customers of Globe landline services in Bukidnon to call customers of other telco providers without additional charges as they no longer have to pay for long distance charges when calling one another.

Prior to the interconnection, landline customers of Globe and other telco providers were charged with long distance rate when making phone calls to one another. With the interconnection, Globe customers can simply dial the seven-digit telephone number to connect with other telco providers and vice-versa.

“We are proud to announce that we have further extended our interconnection with competition for landline services, a move that substantially reduces the cost of connectivity, enabling our customers to realize savings. In line with Globe Telecom’s commitment to provide affordable and easily accessible ways of communication, rest assured that the company will continue to pursue interconnection in line with our competitors to include more and more provinces,” Globe General Counsel Atty. Froilan Castelo said.

Interconnection among telco providers is in line with provisions for compulsory interconnection of authorized public telecommunications carriers under Republic Act 7925. The law aims to create a universally accessible and fully integrated nationwide telecommunications network to encourage more infrastructure investments from the private sector that would benefit the consumers.

In addition to Bukidnon, Globe has existing interconnection agreement with its main competition in Metro Manila, Cavite, Iloilo, Batangas, Cebu, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Bohol, Leyte, Davao City, Pampanga, Bulacan, Zamboanga, Laguna, Quezon, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Benguet, GenSan/South Cotabato, Tarlac, Davao del Norte, Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte, Zambales, Ilocos Sur, Capiz, Cagayan, Nueva Viscaya, Iloilo, Bataan, Isabela, Camarines Norte, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Biliran, and Aklan.

Le Grand Cirque showcases new tricks, death defying stunts performed by  race of international circus performers

by E Lorete / http://inslashout.wordpress.com / http://inslashout.blog.com

Are you looking for a holiday show, apart from the movie festival that thrive during Christmas, to thrill the family during the holiday break? Look no further! Araneta Coliseum a spectacular circus show, with professional circus performers flying straight from Las Vegas in Nevada. It is a big step up from th yearly ice skating show that has been dazzling Filipinos for years.
La Grand Cirque, which showed the media a one of its kind show excerpt of its daring clown acts, Chinese acrobatic shows and gravity defying segments that has never been performed in other Circus road shows worldwide.

Here is what you can expect from Le Grand Cirque, which will daily two hour shows that starte Christmas Day until January 3, which is the middle of a global tour from Las Vegas, Argentina, Europe, the Philippines and next Los Angeles.
Jumping on a trampoline may not be the most exciting thing you can do. Extreme sports, however, has changed what people normally do when they bounce around on trampolines and turned it into an art form. Not only that, what is called the Wall Trampoline continues to take on a new life – in the circus!

“Le Grand Cirque,” Araneta Center’s Christmas offering this December, will let local audiences witness and experience the thrill of seeing gymnasts practically “walk on walls.” Despite the freestyle feel of the Trampoline Wall act, performers have added more tricks to make it more exciting for audiences. In “Le Grand Cirque,” expect to see a jumper rise in the air, fall on his back onto the trampoline below, bounce back up and do a flip before he touches the wall on his way down. Or he may do walking or running motions on the vertical surface, possibly giving Spider-man a run for his money.

It may all look simple, aside from a lot of fun, but gymnasts who do this are hoping wall trampoline becomes an official contest in the X-Games. Such is the demand of this act: The gravity-defying performance consists of a gymnast using the high-rebound capabilities of a performance trampoline to executed perfectly timed flips, twists and other tricks. Part gymnastics and part parkour, a wall walker notes one has to always be aware of where the wall is to do it right.

The Wall Trampoline, headlined by a performer from Ukraine, is one of the exciting acts in “Le Grand Cirque,” coming for the first-time to the Philippines in a series of shows at the Smart Araneta Coliseum from December 25 to January 3, 2017. Enjoyed by thousands with performances in the US, UK and even Canada, Filipino audiences this time will feel the excitement in every breathtaking show. Reasonably priced compared to most Christmas offerings, this is the perfect show for the whole family or the whole barkada.

Globe advocates environmental sustainability, encourages consumers to save thousands of trees via paperless billing *

As a strong advocate of environmental sustainability, leading telecommunications company Globe Telecom encourages its millions of postpaid customers to help save thousands of trees and reduce greenhouse gas emission by enrolling their fixed and mobile accounts in the paperless billing program.
