Play for alien comic characters, grand visual entertainment

In Review: Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 (Sci-Fi/ Comedy)

Cast: Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Kurt Russel, Dave Bautista, Zoey Saldana, Bradley Cooper,  Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Sylvester Stallone, Vhing Rhames

Director: James Gunn

Movies can be predictable! We have seen every Hollywood plot put into motion, but we keep watching for that one thrill of an adventure. It is particularly real for blockbuster sequels, but certainly not for the serializing sci-fi pop action film Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2. Feature storyline is novelty but what really attracts about this particular sequel, and it is based on a comic storyline put to life on the digital screen, is its rolling characters. If that does not make sense to you, then this movie is not for you. I say that with heart because I happened to enjoy this Guardians of the Galaxy chapter which I can safely say is “better than original sequel.” Inslashout is not peeling on the first reel, but let us just say there is more salvaging chemistry in this film. I am not a fan of fancy colorful digitize movies, with the exception of George Lucas’ Star Wars saga, but Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 changed that silly screen perception. It is an adventure movie any sci fi comic fan would not want to miss out watching on the big digital screen. It is one of those sci fi movie that tweaks with its fantasy take, everything drawn from a character ploy best enjoyed watching in full with Baby Groot leading pact. It is star studded, but that is just billing talking. What pans out more is the comic feature galaxy wildly brings on to life. Characters are relatively comic animated, but it is a bunch colorfully triggered to fashion viewer’s wicked sense for great cinema. Every 80s guy will love this gaming sequel in the same weight you may have enjoyed watching the first sequel. The soundtrack for Volume 2 is to die for your phone’s topping hit list. It is moody and playful, imaginatively sailing with films defiantly charging alien characters. The film’s phasing, as well as the movie’s highlighting digital effects, can be distracting but it is what seem to draw audience to film’s outrageously sweeping inter-galaxy habitat. And It is what sweetly defines Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 apart from every Hollywood made scif fi plotting. It is like watching a beaming music video with engaging storytelling, often times shape shifting with constantly clashing screen characters. Film shines despite its almost three hours viewing time, everything comic phasing film’s rocking galactic comedy adventure that never fails to amuse viewer’s detailing taste for drawn comic action and character. It is what makes Guatdians of the Galaxy Volume 2 such a purely entertaining summer film for all ages, including Filipino sci-fi movie fans. Must See only on the big screen!!!

ANTI-PIRACY GROUP WARNS CONSUMERS OF NEW MODUS

Pirates are getting more and more creative to be able to sell their wares, especially with the more intense operations of the Pilipinas Anti-Piracy Team (PAPT). Instead of simply illegally copying discs of business software and operating systems, scrupulous merchants are also now mixing in pirated software along with the legitimate copies that they are selling.

According to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the copies are of very high-quality and can easily deceive customers into thinking that they are buying legitimate software. “The customers are basically paying for the price of an original but receiving pirated copies in exchange,” operatives from the NBI noted.

Late last year, the NBI Intellectual Property Rights Division implemented a search warrant at Gaisano Interpace Computer System operated by Michael Sia, a computer parts and software retailer at the Gilmore IT Center, a popular computer store hub. The raid seized 26 high-quality unlicensed copies of the Microsoft Windows 10 Professional operating system. The discs were marked “Made in Malaysia” and “Made in the United States”, but were found to be pirated upon authentication.

The PAPT warned the public, especially businesses, to be vigilant and to be careful when dealing with computer stores that offer deals that are “too good to be true.” It is advisable to buy from authorized retailers of any of their chosen software or tech products.

Microsoft Philippines is currently pursuing a case against Gaisano Interpace.

Formed in 2005, the PAPT is a joint effort from agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, Optical Media Board, the Philippine National Police and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, which joined the group in 2011. Its goal is to execute integrated and coordinated endeavors by the government to counteract the negative effects of software piracy on the local IT industry and the economy.

ICATS: Seven years of bringing talent into the airline industry

by E. Lorete/ http://inslashout.wordpress.com

Filipinos are known for their hospitality, even in the skies! It is what makes us dominate the airline stewardess staffing among other nationalities vying for that job status worldwide. All that, for the past seven years, has been the objective of the ariline stffinf training school ICATS, which serves the country’s national carriers like Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and many more domestic flight carriers. What is great about ICATS, and you can see that from their airline training experts, is the school’s ability to train efficiently from among the top candidates meticulously selected to bring on the quality airline service staffing demanded not only by local but likewise international airlline flag carriers. ICATS, with its former airline steward and stewardess experts in their training core, provides quality and excellence in the demanded skill accorded mostly to a selected few. It is a privilege ICATS formally engages, reaching out to their airline partners highly trained Filipinos whenever there is employment opening for Filipinos. ICATS is respected in the airline industry for its professional training curriculum, which can be availed through short but professionally tested certified training programs that ensures employment compared to other training organizations providing similar requirements for international airline staffing. ICATS, leaning heavily on Filipino’s unparalleled people skills, said Filipinos are highly preferred in the airline industry for their culturally installed person to person hospitality. It has been replicated by other competing nations vying for airline employment for their nationals, but ICATS said this particular social quality would show its face only with Filipino nationals. ICATS knows that quality of service, particularly for aspiring aairline stewardess, is present and worth exploring with their training airline stewards. The premiere airline staff training school, in celebrating of their 7th year in the bus, was actually founded by senior and seasoned airline executives who have done their flying tours worth the while to teach other candidates take on that lucrative airline posting that would definitely benefit Filipinos dreaming of helping their families grow and progress in the Philippines.
