Godzilla rules the big digital screen

In Review: Godzilla: King of the Monsters (Sci-Fi/Thriller)

Cast: Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Zhang Ziyi, Charles Dance, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Thomas Middleditch, Bradley Whitford, Natalie Pero, O’ Shea Jackson Jr, Aisha Hinds, Anthony Ramos, Akihiro Haga, Elizabeth Ludlow, Randal P. Havens Slim Khezri, Vince Foster

Director: Michael Dougherty

Godzilla may sound comic novelty, but for fans who have waited a lifetime to see this monster on the big screen the excitement is just massive. Godzilla: King of the Monsters brings just that – an exclusive big screen showdown between Godzilla and all the monsters fans would want to clash heavily on the big screen. It is a very basic plotting, but it is one smacking experience any Godzilla fan would dream seeing for the longest possible sequence rendered digitally. It is a violent spectacle, but everything comes treated in comic digital fashion. It is comparable to reading a comic book, only with pulse. Godzilla is huge in this feature film with a running time hitting almost three hours. But length of film, if you are into the big monster fight, seem short and fancy. It helps that Godzilla, despite Roland Emerich’s effort to re-shape the famed monster in 1998, in feature is the same bulgy fire breathing beast fans have never ceased loving for the longest time. But it gets better seeing the same beastly fight with more detailing digital design animating the massive size that occupies the big screen. It is one of key highlights fans will have a frield day trailing. Storyline loyally sweeps through what audience, those who have followed or seen previous Godzilla movies, primarily recall of the big beast’s serializing clashes with other alien titans out to destroy humanity. It is a lengthy ordeal watching this fuming plotting in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Godzilla lords the film’s clashing spectacle, and it is a star studded casting like previous Godzilla classics. Storyline took its form with much funfare as older, and more rickety, Godzilla screen adaptations. One thing certian, if you are cautious how film would pull through with far better digital effects, this Godzilla film reels with sailing fan expectations. It is predictable but that does not seem to bother once the movie settles out the big with every Godzilla forming monster clashes taking so much screen time. I think this shouldering phasing is what makes this Godzilla movie so much more enjoying taking for a weekend watch with friends. The creative effects deployed for Godzilla movie is sensational. It brings so much TV memory watching the monster while eating dinner, before the evening news taking screen cue. It is a lengthy screen affair with a pro-human monster, and there is more taking than what trailers would generally suggest for a catchy teaser. Godzilla: King of the Monsters is definitely a fan pleaser! It is exceptionally produced to glorify the best memories we have of the famed monster throughout the years it continues to mesmerize fans who could not seem to get enough of the bellied fire breathing monster.

Banal offers a grand production, storyline and casting upgrade to pop horror flick genres

by E. Lorete/ http://www.inslashout.wordpress.com / http://www.inslashout.blog.com

In Review: Banal (Horror / Thriller)
Cast: Bianca Umali, Miguel Tan Felix, Andrea Brillantes, Kim Last, and Taki Saito
Director: APT Films

Horror films, be as it may to viewers layering on Hollywood formulaic movies, can be difficult filmming. It is a painstaking challenge, both for pre and post production. But what is even more difficult, particularly Filipino horror flicks cascading with pop cinema, is seeding a creatively different storyline. While that may sound ridiculously impossible taking, the horror thriller Banal (sacred) did manage to overcome what outing suspense thriller have lost baking with s reen trending films, including filmmakers working to craft their signature storyline treatment. Featuring practically newbies pop names, Banal comes off sweetly with a teasing thrilller pitching folklore story shortie. It is a teen film that practically picks up thinking tab from where Shake, Rattle and Roll failed to do just that…roll! Faring on detailing cameraworks, along with playful breeze with shadow lighting, Banal’s shaping thrill heats up with funfare shock. It sends an eerie jolting screen buffet minus the bloody body count boost. That makes a tremendous difference for a weekend movie featuring a bunch of celebrity millenials with solid social media followings. Storyline is plainly Hollywood but production standard suggest a critical understanding of technical skills, including screenplay delivered with playing tension. Horror jolts, regardless how redudndant they can be, requires timing and great acting approach to fill up a thrilling scene. Banal has no problem delivering that rather challenging spectacle, along with cast that delivered a notable acting character with audience attachment. Banal sets its drawing thriller plotting outside the box, taking audience to a dark spot that spoils whatever imagination kids have of the mysterioys unknown. It is what keep Banal kill thrill up the the spike – and it is delivered with teasing illusion of what everyone fears of the unknown. Take that chilling experience in the middle of a freaky forested mountain, and then a young casting filled with curiousity, then you got yoyrself a spiking horror thriller worth your weekend chill. Banal, with its fairly millenial tipping flare for teen adventure thrill, is a carefully detailed horror movie that is enjoyable watching with your family, your friends after a stressful working office week. While it is generally bombing taking a fresh cast doing classic horror roles, Regsl Film’s core talents Bianca Umali, Miguel Tan Felix and Andrea Brillantes showed a keen grasp of their challenging moody character teen roles. Banal took its pop storyline cue from a dreaded mountaineer’s trail tale that sit well with teen pranks that can be dangerous taken with face value neglected. Banal is a fancy horror thriller that would surely elicit a funfilled theater watch before the summer vacation finally bids goodbye!

Easy Ferrer, Regal Films billed actors concoct complex romance millenial summer drama

by E. Lorete/ http://www.inslashout.wordpress.com / http://www.inslashout.blog.com
In Review: Finding You (Romantic Drama)

Cast: Jerome Ponce, Jane Oineza, Barbie Imperial, Claire Ruiz, and Kate Alejandrino

Director: Easy Ferrer
Finding You, Regal film’s latest romantic psychological drama featuring Jerome Ponce, Jane Oineza and newbie Barbie Imperial, offers a complex drama leaning on great acting and superb direction from TV production born director Easy Ferrer. While film’s rather Hollywood mainstream title did introduce a pop romantic film, billing pop stars with tailing social media following like Ponce and Oineza, Finding You is actually an intelligently woven complex drama about people searching for stability. Nel, short for Arnel (Ponce), personifies that pointing complex individual who suffers from a rare mental condition called Hyperthymesia that allows brain to specifically recall all (good and bad) past memories. Ponce, playing a reporter for a daily newspaper, fits the profile – living with a mental stigma that makes it difficult finding a relationship. While there is more to painful affliction, Ferrer, who was amused by hyperthymesia’s psychological effects on a human being, was immediately drawn to defvelop a romantic screenplay based on health disorder’s possible outcome. However rare Hypothymesia for Filipinos to endure, Ferrer found a suitable storyline to bring on Arnel’s depressing condition in motion – to the bug screen. Finding You was brilliantly written with trailing factors that would make you regress with Ponce’s pityful plguing role. It is a tragic movie, but for the most part Ferrer was able to translate romantic drama exploring what this rare health condition can bring to someone who seem unable managing an influx of passing past experiences that can either uplift or destroy anyone’s born well being. Finding You weaves that scenario with realistic deposition, with great characters written for the screen and, and I am happy to reveal, played by good actors who knows what the wrecking haracter details. Finding You, compared to other teen dramas tall telling on every relationship posssibilities trending, delivers an intelligent feature movie that pushes boundaries of storytelling and characterization to a wider audience reeling on every sailing pop genres. Easy Ferrer, along with Ponce, Oineza or even Imperial’s creative acting inputs, shows deeper chemistry bringing to life a modern day relationship summer drama that dare thinking fancy of generally you g millence audiences feeding on teasing branding screen tandems. Finding You is surely a rare film with pop stars building up on a complex yet reeling summer drama out to win your hearts – in a fairly teasing manner. Lily Monteverde’s film outfit, Regal Films, has come a long way
